The Chief Justice of Pakistan Supreme Court (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar suspended all kinds of tax collection on mobile cards on Monday.
Earlier in the Month of May, Chief Justice had taken a notice on high Taxes on mobile cards in the country, as he the Mobile Companies about Rs 40 were deducted as Tax on every Rs 100 mobile Recharge, according to the media.
In this Notice Case, Chief Justice has asked all the telecommunication companies to remove all kinds of taxes and service charges on mobile Recharge from 13th of the June 2018.
The recent development means, that Rs 100 will be available in the case when a Rs 100 card will be loaded by telecom users.
Prior to this development, mobile users were paying about 42 percent tax on balance cards, which is the highest tax rate on mobile recharge among all the countries.
